Rune guantlets cannot be made by players, like other rune equipment. They come in normal and worn-out states. Rune guantlets can be bought from Reggie with Fist of Guthix tokens, and worn-out rune guantlets can be repaired by Reggie for fewer Fist of Guthix tokens.
Rune guantlets are worn out when the player wearing them dies, or if a player asks Reggie to wear them out. Only worn-out rune guantlets can be traded, including on the Grand Exchange.
